Shelter In Place
Experience the end of the world through the eyes of those sworn to save lives. When an alien invasion devastates civilization, firefighter Matt Daniels finds himself trapped inside Fort Wayne’s Fire Station 1, cut off from his crew and surrounded by a relentless enemy. As survivors come and go, supplies dwindle, and trust becomes as dangerous as the creatures outside, Matt must rely on his training, courage, and determination to survive. Blending realistic firefighting, intense action, psychological suspense, and first responder authenticity, the Fire Station 1 series delivers a gripping alien invasion thriller where humanity’s greatest challenge may not be the monsters beyond the station walls, but the choices made within them.
Shelter In Place – Solitaire
Fort Wayne, Indiana. Fire Station 1. The end of the world.
Unintentional consequences cause firefighter Matt Daniels to miss a run (one of the most embarrassing things that can happen to a fireman). Waking up from his near-comatose state, he discovers the world he knows lying in ruins as an alien invasion is under way.
Isolated and alone with no knowledge of his fellow firefighters, Matt works to secure his home away from home without attracting any unwanted attention from the lethal invaders. The only information he can attain comes from a failing radio station and the DJ trapped within. Witnessing civilization collapsing around him, Matt reflects on his career and the relationship with the members of his crew.
When his resources and sanity run low, Matt is forced to take action. But his plan, like much of his efforts to safeguard the station, gets subverted and he must improvise a new strategy in his effort to escape the city.

While Daniels works to secure the engine house, Ray Starns, a homeless man, discovers an opening and sneaks inside. After the pair discover each other, they must set aside their differences and find a way to work together to keep the growing horde of aliens at bay.
Ultimately, Daniels is forced to decide which threat poses a greater risk to his life – the creatures outside or the man inside.
